Genuine Love

When Brooke first reached out to me about her and Cody’s intimate wedding ceremony, I felt a genuine connection.  It’s my favorite when someone reaches out and we know we’re going to be the right fit immediately. 

Brooke & Cody met me near the north side of Higgins Lake for their engagement session.  We found the best area with a beautiful mix of woods, the river, and the lake.  The perfect recipe for epic photos!  And everything Brooke and Cody love about being up north.  Brooke brought along some of her Palo Santo sticks.  Palo Santo means “holy wood” in Spanish and attracts positivity to the space and people it comes in contact with.  One of the many benefits of burning Palo Santo is its smell is aphrodisiac.  It stimulates sweetness and the ability to give and receive love.  

Higgins Lake

Higgins Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful Michigan lakes located in Roscommon County.  It’s known for its deep, crystal clear waters with a shoreline of 21 miles.  It is my personal favorite lake in Northern Michigan.  There are year-round adventures of boating, floating, hiking, and most importantly, relaxing.  It’s truly a tranquil place to be.
